NEW SERVICE GIVES MEDICAL PRACTICES COST-EFFECTIVE MEANS TO RECOVER DELINQUENT INSURANCE CLAIMS

Recognizing that medical and dental practices have two types of delinquent receivables – (1) self-pay patient balances and (2) delayed insurance claims – NCO Receivables Management Solutions has developed a new Medical Claims Recovery Service (MCRS). This service is designed to quickly and cost-effectively recover delinquent insurance reimbursements. In most practices’ delayed third-party insurance claims make up the largest number and dollar amount of all moneys due the practice!

Many practices spend over $15 per month just attempting to recover insurance claims that are over sixty to ninety days (or more) delinquent. MCRS – with a one-time fee of just $9 per claim (or less) saves the practice money while allowing the practice’s internal staff to focus their efforts on the fresher and easier claims.

MCRS works hand-in-hand with the practice’s internal staff to reduce the number of delayed insurance claims. In most cases, NCO Receivables Management Solutions recommends that the practice’s management staff work delayed claims for no longer than sixty days. Then, any claims still outstanding at that point would be turned over to NCO Receivables Management Solutions for full third party recovery efforts.

There are no paper forms to fill out to submit claims with MCRS. Housed in a password protected secure section of NCO Receivables Management Solutions’s web site, delayed insurance claims are assigned electronically via the Internet. There is no software to purchase or install and the practice has 24 by 7 access to their accounts. Balance changes, payment notifications, and account auditing can be done online and at any time.

Now Medical/Dental Practices Can Have Total Receivables Protection

With the availability of MCRS, NCO Receivables Management Solutions can now offer medical practices protection for both types of their delinquent accounts and bad debts. The NCO Receivables Management Solutions Tandem program is used to recover outstanding self-pay balances from patients, and MCRS to stimulate payment from delayed insurance claims.
